Missy Griffith is a Picayune native, wife to an amazing husband, and mother of 4 beautiful children. She acquired a passion for the arts at an early age and continued that passion singing in church and various groups in life. She recently had the opportunity to perform with her children, at Cutting Edge Theatre, in the musical “Hairspray” starred as one of the singing Dynamites. She was thankful to once again have the opportunity to perform with Cutting Edge Theatre in the production of “That 70’s show”, as Ms. Gladys Knight, The Empress of Soul, and in 2018 starred “Dot Haigler” in “The Savannah Sipping Society.” Her most memorable role yet was as the “Church Lady Jarene” in this year’s Broadway musical “THE COLOR PURPLE”. Special thanks to her family for their endless support and Brian Fontenot for welcoming her back to the Cutting Edge family once more.
