Brittney M. James (Brittney Crayton) is a Native New Orleanian with a love of the arts and a flair for the theatre! Last seen as Celie in the CECA production of The Color Purple ,Brittney’s love of the Stage has allowed her to nurture Theatre Appreciation in her students as a Performing Arts Teacher At Crocker college Prep. Always working on perefecting her craft, Brittney obtained a bachelors degree in theatre from Dillard University and is currently obtaining a Masters of arts in Theatre from Regent University . Brittney is a 2008 Big Easy Award Nominee and a 2017 Company Award winner for best vocalist. She was recently seen as Motormouth Maybelle in the company st bernard’s production of hairspray. Her most memorable performance was getting the honor of portraying her musical muse Natalie Cole and roberta Flack With Cutting Edge ‘ original smash hit That 70s show. Brittney dedicates this performance to her husband Mr Steven Crayton “Hunnybunny” and her loving supporting father Pastor Rodney James. Thanks to my two wings! I am able to fly high because of you!
